The Mahono, which arrived at Auckland at noon yesterday from Sydney, brought 140 saloon and 163 steerage passengers. Tne Melbourne Company s steamer Melbourne left Newcastle on Thursday coal-laden for Lyttelton, where bhe is due ou Wednesday. The Italian ship Yallaro, which Bailed from Marseilles ou September 17th last with a full cargo of rooting tiles for Dunedin and Lyttelton, was spoken on October 9th. in latitude 28deg north, longitude 20deg west, when she reported "All well/’ The ship is 133 days out from Marseilles to-day, and she should arrive at Dunedin with the first southerly wind. The Delphic loft Sydney on Friday for Napier direct, and will commence her Homeward loading at the latter port. Shp will afterwards load at southern ports, and may also visit Bluff and Fort Chalmers, but the latter port has not yet been decided upon. Recently the steamer Breir Izel has been fitted with new boilers, and all her engines and machinery have been thoroughly overhauled at St. Nazaire. The Bredr Izel has been, chartered to load a cargo of case oil at New York for Australian or New Zealand ports.

Messrs Tapley and Co., of Dunedin, report .that tho Scales liner Clan Grant is to load wool at Port Chalmers about the middle of next month for London and Continental ports.

The Shaw-SaviU steamer Kumara is duo at Auckland from Gisborne this morning to complete her loading for London. She is to sail for the Homo port, via Rio do Janeiro and Tenoriffe, on Thursday evening. The collier Wuiruna is to leave Auckland to-morrow for Newcastle to load coal for New Zealand.

The old French warship Eure, which was originally brought to Sydney from Noumea, and which has since been dismantled and converted into a hulk at Balmain, was towed to Auckland by the steamer Ihumata, which arrived there yesterday. The Euro has been purchased by the Northern Company.. . The Waverley is due at Wellington tomorrow from Foxton, and will probably sail on Wednesday for Nelson and West Coast.

The Karori, which arrived at Wellington early yesterday morning from Westport, is to leave here to-morrow on the return trip.

Tho Kiid is to sail from Westport today for Wellington, and will probably leave here on Wednesday night on the return trip. The Ripple is bringing wool from Napier and Afcitio, and is expected at Wellington to-day. Tho Athcnic, which loft Wellington on Friday for London, is fixed to leave Wellington on her next Homeward voyage on June 12th.

Tho Kabu arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Mataikona and Castlepoint with wool. She is to sail again for East Coast to-day for more wool.

After delivoring a cargo of coal at Wellington from Newcastle the Kurow is to load at Timarn for Auckland.

Tho Koonya is to leave Wellington today for Greymonth to load again for this port.

Tho Harpagns is to sail from Wellington to-day for Lyttelton and Dunedin with remainder of cargo from New York. Tho Komata, which left Wellington on Saturday afternoon for Westport, is expected here again on Wednesday. Bannatyne and Co. advise that the Star of India is due at Wellington on Thursday from Wanganui to complete tier Homeward loading. She is to sail at tho end of tho week for London. The coastal steamer Bakinra is to make one trip from the West Coast to Lyttelton and back, before she comes to Wellington again. The Scales liner Clan Ogilvy will probably get away from Wellington to-day for London via Suez canal and Dunkirk Levin and Co. received word on Saturday that the Awahou was at Castlepoint. She is due back hero to-day. The Kaituna is duo at Wellington about February 13th from Edith burg, via Hobart. She left the Sontb Australian port on Thursday wjth salt for Wellington. Napier, and New Plymouth. Tho Westport Coal_ Company’s collier Canopus, which, arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Westport, is to sail ou the return trip on Thursday night.

The Corinna is due at Wellington on Wednesday from southern ports, and is to sail on the same day for Nelson, New Plymouth, and Onebnnga. The Humnui is due back at Wellington about February 6th to complete loading. and is to sail on February Sth for London.

She is fixed to leave Lyttelton on Friday next, but it is doubtful whether the vessel will bo able to get away on that day. TURAKINA’S LOADING PORTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Ttirakina, which left Wellington last night for Lyttelton with remainder of cargo from London, will load at only Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due back at Wellington next Sunday, and will sail ’on tho following Thursday (February Gth) for London, via ports. ECHO AT WELLINGTON. Shortly after 4.30 o’clock yesterday afternoon tho auxiliary scow Echo, which was bar-bound at Earamea for twentyfive clays, arrived at AVeliington with a load of timber.
