MAIL NOTICE.
Subject to necessary alterations, Mails close at Chief Post Office, Wellington, as under : This Day. For Picton, Nelson, and West Coast ports, per Hawea, at 12.20 p.rn. For Southern offices and Australian Colonies, per 'Rotorua, at 1.20 p.m. For Kelson, Westport, Greyinouth, and Hokitika, per Wallace, at 5 p.rn. Tuesday, April 5. For Wanganui, per Manawatu, at 3 p.m.
NOTICE
The next despatch from Wellington for specially-addressed letters for United Kingdom via Plymouth, Naples, or Brindisi, will be made per Kotomahana, on the 11th inst nt. The San Francisco mail will leave Wellington April 24, and is due at London, June 7th. Letters for registration should he presented, and money orders secured at the Post Office, one hour previous to the closing of mails. Letters bearing an additional single rate of postage as a late fee may be posted twenty minutes after the time appointed, except for mails closing at 5 p.m. The daily service to Foxton has been reestablished. Mails will close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, each Monday, at 3.30 a.rn., and every evening, except Saturday, at halfpast 7 o’clock. Edward D. Butts, Chief Postmaster.
