She leaves again at 10 a.m. on an excursion trip to Nelson, returning to port about midnight to-morrow. The Union Company’s steamer Waitaki arrived at at early hour yesterday morning from Picton and Nelson, and sailed again at noon for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. Tho steamer Southern Cross, from Auckland and East 'Coast ports, arrived in harbor at 4 p.m. yosteiday. ■ The. Union Company's steamer Taiaroa, from Lyttelton and. Port Chalmers, arrived in harbor at 10.15 a m.-yesterday; and left again at 10 p.m. for Manukau amt intermediate ports. The steamer-Manawatu arrived yesterday morning from Wanganui, and returned again to the same port at 10 p.m. with about 20 excursionists.
