DOG POISONING.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES, bin, —As bo many dogs have been poisoned within the last few weeks at the Te Aro end of the town, the following facta may interest owners of dogs :—Last .Friday evening I saw a black retriever dog eat a piece of meat outside a butcher's shop in Cuba-street, and the animal fell down dead before it had gone three hundred yards from the place, To-day a valuable pointer dog of my own ate a piece of meat which he found in the gutter outside the same shop, and died within ten minutes.—l am, Ac., Canis.
