TAWA FLAT SCHOOL.

The annual distribution oi prizes in connection with the Tawa Flat school took place on Monday afternoon, and Mr. A de. B. Brandon, M.H.K. for the district, distributed the prizes. The Misses Brandon were also present, and also Mr. Taylor, chairman of the school committee, who presided at the meeting, and Messrs. Duncan and Kyau, accompanied by some of their friends. Mr. Brandon, in addressing the children, said he was happy to congratulate them on having a much more commodious building now than when he distributed the prizes about three or four years ago.
