THE LONDON WOOL MARKET.
The N. Z. Loau and Mercantile Agency Company report, under date London, 10th December ;—The wool sales closed at an average improvement of IJd. to 2d. per lb. The principal advance has been in crossbred, superior greasy, superior combing, washed medium, and inferior washed and scoured. Up to date 125,000 bales have been sold, and 5000 bales withdrawn, during past sales; 45,000 bales have been taken for export. Best sides of leather are worth Is. Id. per lb.
