The township of Cheltenham is situated at the junction of four of the most important roads in the Manawatu county, eight and a half miles from Feilding. This Hotel must command a good trade, being the only one in the township, and none other nearer than Feilding, and is therefore very necessary for the accommodation of the travelling public, Mr. Dalziell’s only reason for selling is owing to the severe illness of the manager, who has been compelled to leave. Note.— As there is a large block of Government land in the immediate neighborhood of Cheltenham, which doubtless will shortly be placed in the market and occupied by settlers, and as there are already several saw-mills in the locality, and a good metalled road the whole distance from Feilding, the Cheltenham Hotel must prove a profitable investment to any person in the trade, if properly conducted.
