fPBR PRESS AGENOT.) Christchurch, Wednesday. The annual exhibition of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Society was very largely attended. The exhibition as a whole showed a decided advance in comparison with other years. The entries were numerous, and more particularly iu the classes of merino sheep. The cattle exhibits were unusually fine, and the number of entries in implements and machinery departments were large.
