The 3‘eamcr Tui got. away for Wanganni at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The steamer Preti left Manukau on Saturday evening, called at New Plymouth and Wanganui, and arrived here at 9.15 a in. yesterday. She returned again to the same ports at 0 o’clock in the evening. The briganti-e Lizzie Guv arrived from Oamaru narlv yesterday morn’ng, with a cargo of breadstuff.** for .T, and T. Meek. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s ship Parcnra was towed into tho fairway yesterday afternoon. She will clear at the Customs this morning and sail for London duriag the afternoon, providing the present wind (N.W.) holds good. The brig Wild Wave sailed for Kaipara yesterday affernoon. , The steamer Wallace maybe expected to arrive from Nelson this morning. She i* advertised to sail for Nelson, Westport, and Greymouth, at C o’clock in the evening. The steamer Manawatu should arrive this morning, from Wanganui. She returns to the same port during the evening. The Union Company’s steamer Rotorua left Fort Chalraera at 330 p in. on the 20th. reached Lyttelton at 8.30 a.m. on the 27th, sailed for Wellington at 3 45 arriving alongside the wharf at G.BO a.m. yesterday, She sailed again, at noon, for Sydney, via East Coast ports. 'Hie steamer Napier got away for Blenheim at 8 o'clock last night The steamer Stormbird will arrive this morning, from Foxton. She returns to the same port at G p.m. to-morrow. The steamer Kiwi was launched off the slip yesterday. She is advertised to leave for Flaxbournc at 4 o’clock this evening. Messrs. W. and G. Turnbull and Co.’s barque Alcxa will show a clean hold to-day. She will sail for Newcastle on Saturday, and from thence proceeds to the Mauritius for a cargo of sugar for her owners. The barque Amelia Ross sailed for Auckland yesterday. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s ship Rakaia was towed round to the patent slip yesterday morning. She will be launched to-morrow, and at once come alongside the wharf and commence loading. The schooners Julius Vogel and Aramauth will sail to-day ; the former for Kaipara and the latter for the Manukau. The Union Company’s stvamer Waitaki. from Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, with the Pingarooma’s passengers, cargo, and mails, will arrive in port early on Friday morning.
