Sailed: Beautiful Star, for Oamaru and Tiraaru. NAPIER, Thursday. Arrived: 5 a.m., Kiwi, from Castlepoint and Well ington. Sailed ; 11.15 a.m., ilawea, for Wellington. LYTTELTON, Thursday. Arrived: 10.40 a.m., WaiUki, from Wellington. Sailed : Lontay, for Manilla ; Waitaki, for Dunedin ; Albion, for Wellington* Passengers per Albion Mr. and Mrs. Lingarcl and troupe (19). Miss .Shannon, Messrs Laird, Fraser, Allen, McPherson, and Krown. The Albion passed a full-rigged ship off Oamaru, making up the coast, on Wednesday night. The following vessels were in port last night;— Steamers—Wellington, Samson, Rangatira, Hinemoa, Napier. Manawatu, Southern Cross, Stormbird, and Grafton. Ships Rakaia, St. Leonards-. Pareora, and Zealandia. Barques—lone, Alexa, Lochnagar. Southern Cross, and Amelia Ross. Three-masted schooner—Eßcrton. Brig—Wild Wave. Owing to detention at Nelson, the Union Company’s steamer Taiaroa, with the San Francisco mail on board, did not arrive in port till about 4 o'clock this morning. She returns again to the Manukau at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. The steamer Tui arrived in harbor at 1.45 a.m. yesterday, after a smart passage of 11 hours from Wanganui. She left again at 7 p.m, for Foxton. The steamer Jane Douglas got away for Waitara yesterday. The Union Company’s steamer Albion is due this morning from Melbourne and Hobarton, via Southern ports. She returns to the same ports on Monday. The barque lone sailed for Portland, Oregon, yesterday morning. The steamer Manawatu arrived from Wanganui early yesterday morning. She returns to the same port at II a.m. this morning. The brigantine Sarah Pile is loading at Kaipara for this port. The topsail schooners Falcon, for Foxton, and Endeavor, for Oamaru, sailed yesterday morning. The topsail schooner Poneko sailed for Pelorus Sound yesterday afternoon. The ste4araer Napier came off the Slip yesterday. She leaves for Blenheim to-night. The Union Company notify by advertisement that tho usual steamer to Picton and Nelson will not be despatched on Monday next, in consequence of the accident to the Wellington. The barque Lochnagar will discharge her powder this morning, and be berthed at the wharf during the afternoon. Tho steamer Huia came off the Slip yesterday morning. She sailed for Kaikoura and Lyttelton at C o’clock in the evening. The topsail schooner Julius Vogel, with a cargo of sawn timber for Messrs. Compton, arrived from Kaipara yesterday morning. Tho barque Southern Cross came alongside tho wharf yesterday. After discharging her cargo, which consists of railway sleepers for the Government, she will sail for Hobarton. The Union Company’s steamer Hawea is due here this morning from Auckland and East Coast ports. She sails again at noon for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, The steamer Southern Cross arrived from Lyttelton shortly after noon yesterday. She leaves this evening for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. ARRIVAL OF THE LOCHNAGAR. ’ Messrs. Shaw, SaviU and Co.’s barque Lochnagar arrived off the Heads on Wednesday evening. She was at once boarded by I’ilot Shilling, who brought her into harbor at I o’clock yesterday afternoon. Having powder on board, she brought up In the powder ground. The Lochnagar left the Docks on the 13th July, and the Downs on the 17th. She brings a large general cargo, and comes consigned to Messrs. Turnbull and Co.
