HALF-YEARLY MEETING OF THE BANK OF NEW ZEALAND.
(PER PRESS AGENCY.) Auckland, Thursday. The Bank of New Zealand half-yearly meeting was held to-day, Dr. Campbell in the chair. A large assemblage of shareholders was present. The report shows a profit of £259,406, including £180,600 premium on new shares, and £9700 balance brought forward. Out of this the directors propose to pay a dividend and bonus of 15 per cent., amounting to £63,500, and £IBO,OOO to the reserve fund, carrying forward £5890. Mr. Browning was elected director, and the usual votes of thanks were passed.
