Notice is hereby given that the By-Laws amending the Building Regulations of the Corporation of Wellington, as published in the supplement to the Evenin') Chronicle of this date, were confirmed at a meeting of the City Council held on the 9th instant, and will come into force on the Ist October, 1879. The Catalogue will be Demy Bvo in size, and be divided into four principal sections, of each of which a first edition of 20,000 copies will be issued, viz.:— I. ART. 11. EDUCATION, SCIENCE, and MANUFACTURES. 111. MINING, METALLURGY, AGRICULTURE, and HORTICULTURE. IV. MACHINERY. There will be a fifth section consisting of occasional parts for Livestock Shows, Wool, Grain, &c., of which further notice will be given* PRICE. OF THE CATALOGUE, 6d. Each Section. Advertisers will, therefore, be enabled to choose for their advertisements those sections of the Catalogue which they may think are best calculated to secure the attention of the class of readers they particularly wish to address. The charges specified in the scale are for one section only in the first edition. If advertisements are required in more than one section they must be paid for accordingly, but the following discounts will be allowed to those who insert the same advertisements in more than one section, viz.;— For two sections, 15 per cent. For three sections, 20 per cent. For four sections, 25 per cent. Shoo’d a Second Edition be published, a further charge will be made to those who wish their advertisement continued.
