BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND. Friday, Mr W F Buckland reports—Fat cattle In steady demand at prices from 27s for ship borne to 31s for Auckland fatted stock. Good mutton is slightly improved from last week's quotations. CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Messrs. Robert Wilkin and Co. quote prices at their weekly sales as follows:—Fat steers, £9 10s to £ll 10s fair quality: fat cross-bred sheep as high as 10s 3d each: well bred pigs at 35s each ; tallow, best clean 2Jd per lb: second quality to IJd per lb; inferior and heated, Ijd: calf .'.kins, 4d.
