OF The following Teachers are required by the Board : SECOND MASTER, Timaru School, average attendance 785. Salary according to the scale of the Board, at present £255 per annum, plus a maximum of £4O per annum for instructing pupil teachers. Other qualifications being equal, preference will be given to a candidate prepared to teach music or drawing, in accordance with the Government SECOND MISTRESS of the Infants’ Department, Timaru School. BURY. NORMAL SCHOOL. The Board requires the Services of a PRINCIPAL of the NORMAL SCHOOL, Christchurch. Salary £6OO per annum, to include rent allowance. It is essential that whoever is appointed should be thoroughly conversant with Normal School work, and with the technical training of Teachers ; and he must be qualified to obtain a High Class Certificate from the New Zealand Education Department. The possession of a. University Degree will be considered an additional recommendation. Applications addressed to the Chairman of the Board must bo sent in on or before the Ist November. Applicants are requested to state their age, their professional or academical status, and to give particulars as to the nature and extent of their experience in School Management and in the Training of Teachers.
