The Clio, which crossed at the same time as the Patterson, although drawing nearly a foot less water, also thumped heavily several times, but got over apparently uni jured. A good race is expected between the steamers ilawea and Hinemoa, which left the wharf yesterday afternoon within ten minutes of each other for Napier. The Hinemoa being the fastest boat should beat her antagonist by about three-quarters of an hour. The cutter Hero, from Patea, arrived early yesterday morning. The steamer Napier left for Blenheim at 8 o’c) ock last n : ght. The steamer St. Kilda sailed for Wanganui at 4 p.m. yesterday. The steamer Huia sailed for Kaikoura and..
