Auctions IN THE EXCHANGE LAND MART. THIS DAY, ON MONDAY, 18th AUGUST, 1879, At 9.80 o’clock p.m. By Order ol the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington, at Request of the Second Mortgagee. Under the provisions of “ The Conveyancing Ordinance Amendment Act, I 860,” and “The Sales by Mortgagees Act, 1870.” T KENNEDY MACDONALD & 00. , have received instructions from A. 8. Allan, Esq., Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington, to offer for sale at their Mart, Grey and Leather-ton streets, in the City of Wellington, on Monday, the 18th day of August, 1879, at half-past two o’clock in the afternoon, the whole of the undermentioned valuable properties, known as lately belonging to the estate of Mr. M. McGredie, ironmonger, of this city. The properties will lie sold absolutely without reserve, but subject in each ease to the several first mortgages stated to exist thereon— Lot 1. The Equity of Redemption of all that valuable allotment of land, having a double frontage of 25ft. to Lambton-quay, and 33ft. Gin. to the Terrace, by a depth of 119 ft., with the two shops thereon. The mortgage upon the property is £IOOO. Lot 2. The Equity of Redemption of all that valuable allotment of land, having a frontage of 85ft. to Webb-street, by a depth of 210 ft., on which is erected an exceedingly comfortable eight-roomed dwelling-house, out-houses, and offices, now occupied by Mr. McCredie. The balance of mortgage upon this property, with interest, is about £3OO. Lot 3. The Equity of Redemption of all that magnificent property situated in Lambtonquay (known as the old Club promises), being an allotment of land having a frontage of 60£t. to Lambton-quay, by a depth of 138 ft,, together with the splendid buildings thereon.
