The Union Company’s steamer Tararua left Melbourne on the sth, Hobarton on the 7th, and arrived at the Bluff on the 12th ; left same day, and arrived at Port Chalmers on the following morning ; sailed at 4 pm., and reached Lyttelton at 11 a.m. on the 14th ; left again same day at 0 p.m., and arrived in harbor at 0.15 yesterday morning, having experienced light variable winds and fine weather on the passage along the coast. She sailed for Sydney via the East Coast ports of Auckland at 6 o’clock yesterday evening. The steamer Wanganui left for Lyttelton, Timaru, Camara, and Dunedin yesterday evening. The steamer Huia got away for Foxton at 5 o’clock last evening. The Government steamer Hlncmoa left for Nelson last evening with Sir Hercules Robinson. The Union Company’s steamer Taiaroa, from the Manukau and intermediate ports, Is due hero this morning. She leaves for Picton and Nelson at 4 p.m. on Monday. The steamer Jane Douglas, for Foxton and Rangitikei, and Stormbird, for Wanganui, got away at 2 p.m. yesterday.
