The following are the duties collected R t the Customs yesterday :
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. held their usual monthly sale ot wool, sheepskins, &c, yesterday. There was a fu'l attendance of buyers, and prices were well maintained. Wool A few inferior lots of mixed ileece realised up to ojil, but as usual at this time of the year very little is forward. Sheepskins—Butchers'grain skins, 2s «d to 3s Id eachdry crossbred skins, 2Jd to 5d per lb : silts and shortwool skins. Od to Is 10d each. Hides—The deman I is slack, but good heavy weights, 651bs and -upwards, sell well at 3d per lb; light weights unsaleable at over 2d per lb. Tallow—No demand, and arrivals coming in freely: but with-the news of the rise at Homo holders expect to obtam their reserves. , Grain—Oats in fair supply. For good feed 3s is obtainable; chickwheat. 3s to 3s 4(l,"accofdirig to sample—moderate demand ; chaff, £5 10s to £0 per ton for hydraulic pressed.
