(REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.) Sydney, Tuesday. The statement of the Bth instant of the appointment of Sir Joseph G. L. Innes ns Attorney-General was premature. The office is not yet filled. At a meeting of those interested in aquatics last night it was resolved to accept Hanlon’s challenge to row Triokett for £2OOO ; but the meeting refused to guarantee Hanlon’s expenses. BbisdaNb, Tuesday. The leader of the Opposition has given notice of a motion condemning the Public Works policy of the Government.
