Patna rice, £22 per ton; New Zealand wheat, 4s. 3d.; oats, 2s. 6d. per bushel; maize, 2s. 7d.; Raven’s twist tobacco, Is. 7d. per lb.; Sugar Company’s No. 1 £35 ; candles, D.R.J.s., Bd. to B£d.; other lines unchanged. The Commercial Banking Company of Sydney have declared a dividend of -25 per cent., and increased the capital to £600,000.
Sir Henry Parkes’ resolutions in the Assembly were carried by 23 to 13. The debate on the Hon. Mr. Docker’s counter-resolutions in the Council was adjourned, in consequence of the death of Sir Deas Thomson. Melbourne, Friday.
