MEETINGS OF CREDITORS.
A meeting of creditors of Mr. James True, storeman, Wellington, was called for yesterday, at the Supreme Court, but there being no quorum, the meeting stands adjourned till to-day. At a meeting of the creditors of Mr. J. H. Williams, late of the Albion Hotel, Taita, an offer of Is. in the £ made by Mr. Parkes, the landlord, was accepted. All proofs of debt must be sent in by Wednesday.
At a private meeting of the creditors et Mr* Cole, the secretary and treasurer of the West Wairarapa County Conncii, held on Wednesday evening at Carterton, it was resolved that in the opinion of those present it was necessary that Mr. Cole should file his schedule. •
William Nicholson, cabinetmaker, has execnted a deed of arrangement with Messrs. J. E. Nathan and T. J. Ladd for the benefit of his creditors. A first meeting will take place on Thursday, the gist July.
