GEORGE THOMAS has received instructions, by order of the mortgagee, from Mr. A. S. Allan, the Registrar, to sell by public auction, at his auction rooms, Hunter-street (late Vennell’s auction room), on Friday, the 18th July, at 2 o'clock, the parcels of land (described more particularly in the schedule below), which, together, form a property of great value, consisting of 811 acres, and situate near the Taita, in the Dower Hutt Valley. 100 acres of this property, consisting of noh bottom land, close to the road, suitable for market gardens, with yards, garden, and a fourroomed house; is subject to a lease which has 8J years to run, at a rental of £2OO per annum. 6 acres of the land, with a dwelling-house thereon, consisting of an orchard, stocked with 600 choicest fruit trees, and stable, piggeries, &c.; is also subject to a lease with 8J years to run, the annual rental being £35. The remainder of the property consists in part of dense bush, suitable for firewood, posts and rails,&c..and inpartopen grazing land, with a nine-roomed dwelling-house, surrounded with a garden, upon it.
