The following vessels sailed from London for New Zealand from the 20 th April to 9th May :—Loch Cree and Beemah, for Wellington ; Cookermouth and Thomas Stephens, for Otago ; Ironside and Kildonan, for Auckland ; Lurline and Merope, for Canterbury. The health ot Lady Normanby is more satisfactory, though she is still very weak.

The Arawata has sailed with the Suez mail. SYDNEY, Wednesday. The Mint authorities have made arrangements to issue a new silver coinage. Brisbane, Wednesday. His Honor Sir James Cookie, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, hasjresigned.
