Tenders N OTICE TO CONTRACTORS. HURINUI ORANGI BRIDGE. NOTICE. County Offices, Masterton, May 9, 1879. TENDERS will be received at this office up to NOON on FRIDAY, 30th INSTANT, for the erection of a bridge at Hurinui Orangi. Plans and specifications may be seen at the above office. Each tender must be accompanied by a cheque for five per cent, on the amount of tender, marked by a banker as good for one month. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. The County, Council guarantees that suitable timber for constructing the bridge may be obtained by the successful tenderer within two miles of the proposed site, subject to the payment of a royalty of Is. per 100 feet super, for all timber used in the structure, and fid. per 100 feet for all waste scantlings necessarily cut in excess of actual requirements for bridge construction, JOHN KING, County Engineer.
