(REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.) London, April 26. Silver coinage, to the amount of £IOO,OOO, has been issued. The Aconcagua has left Plymouth for Australia. Mr. Berry telegraphs that he has had a final interview with Lord Beaconafield and Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, and has obtained the decision of the English Cabinet. The Imperial Government decline to legislate at the present juncture, but propose that Mr. Berry shall submit the issue to the country, and if that fails the arrangement is that the Home Government then will invite Parliament to amend the Victorian Constitution.

The Treasury has consented to reduce the Imperial share of postage to twopence. Mr. Berry proposes to accept the P. and O, Co.’s tender. The Cabinet has authorised Mr. Berry to sigh the contract. The Embassy returns on the 7th. An attempt has been made to shoot Monck, who assisted in recovering the bodies of the policemen murdered by the Kelly gang. Three shots were fired, the horse was wounded, and Monck narrowly escaped.
