THE GOVERNOR’S LEVEE.
A, very large number of gentlemen attended the Governor’s levee on Thursday, April 8. At about three o’clock almost every cab in town was called into requisition to carry Traitors to Government House.
A couple of complimentary addresses were presented to his Excellency, to which suitable replies were made by Sir Hercules Robinson. Wo were unable to obtain the text of the addresses at the time.
