SALE OF MR. REDWOOD’S RACEHORSES.

Cheistohdbch, Thursday.
• The sale of Mr. Redwood’s horses took place to-day. The bidding was very slackr Eaupo, Tditoi, and Wainul passed in at 500 guineas each, audj Skybird, Fanny, and - Fair Puritan passed in at 150 guineas each ; Countess passed in at 75 guineas, Constance aud Shrovetide at 100 guineas, and Fair Agnes at 300 guineas. A foal by Maroro, out of Toitoi, was bought by Mr. Don J for 100 guineas. Norseman, . Maroro, and Miss Darrett, sold on account of G. G. Stead, was bought by Redwood for 100, 200, and 100 guineas' respectively. Mata, winner of Dunedin Cup, was sold to Messrs.' H. Prince and Cntts for 700 guineas, and, Longlands, winner of the , Great Autumn Handicap of 1879, was passed in at 250guineas. , • j.
