ARRIVAL OF H.M.S. EMERALD AND WOLVERINE.

H.M. steamers Emerald (with Sir Hercules Robinson, Lady Robinson, and suite on board) and the Wolverine, arrived in harbor just before before midnight. Both vessels left Sydney on- the 19th, and experienced fine weather the most of the passage. They were in company the whole of the way. The vessels were off Cape Farewell at 11 o’clock yesterday morning, and arrived here as above.

The following are the names of the officers on board the Wolverine;—Commodore Wilson, lieutenants, E. S. Douglas, C. W.-G. Spring, C. W. P. Bouverio ; chaplain, Rev. F. L. Warleigh ; staff-surgeon, W. Reid ; chief engineer, W. McDowall; surgeon, H. E. Marsh ; midshipmen, R. J. R. Keene, E. J. 0. Wilson, J. P. Bolliston, Hon. E. C. B. Addington, S. H. B. Ash. The Wolverine is only to stop in Wellington for four days, after, which 'she proceeds on a cruise round Fiji. The officers on board the Emerald are : Captain, W. H. Maxwell; lieutenants, A. 0. Clarke,' HUD. Barry, H. Harris, B. G. Giles; naval lieutenant, J. Stocken; chaplain, Rev. G. H. Trehenarne; staff-surgeon, J. E. Bourke; paj master, H. J. Harvey ; chief engineer, N.. 0. Oldknow; sub-lieutenants, H. F. Goldfinch, W. O. Oxley; surgeon, W. 0. Williamson.

Hia Excellency will not leave the Emerald until 10.-30 o’clock this-morning, and will be sworn in immediately after landing.' ■
