Best brands of Oamaru mills aro quoted at £lO per ton for bakers’ lots, but there aro several parcels of doubtful quality offering at £8 10s pet ton. Adelaide Hour is becoming low in stock, and worth £ls per ton. The grain market exhibits little change from lost week’s quotations, ’ Oats are in full supply at 3s 6d. Friday. Tho grain market is a shade weaker during the last few days, and speculation has somewhat slackened, probably owing to tho approaching half-yearly balance of several banking institutions. Wheat ranges from 3s OUI to3s del; oats, 2s 6d to 2s 10d; barley, 6s toss sd; flour. £9 to £10; bran, £5 ; sharps, £5 10s ; cheese, 8d; butter, lOd. , SYDNEY. Friday. Patna rice, £23; Adelaide wheat, 5s to 5s 3d ; Now Zealand wheat. 4s 3d to 4s 6d ; Adelaide flour unchanged: Now Zealand oats unchanged; candles, BJd; brandy, kerosene, and tobacco, unchanged. INVERCARGILL, Friday Businos continues sound, though quiet, wi.th a disposition to steadily improve. With regard to grain, the market is bate of both wheat and barley, and wo really cannot hazard a quotation on either.
