One hundred and two societies, twenty-eight newspapers, and eighty-eight books and pamphlets have been prohibited in Germany since the promulgation of the anti-Socialist law. In Northern Germany there is but one journal of Socialist proclivities left, in Central and Southern Germany there still remain eleven. All these have changed their names since the new law, and try to conceal their bias as much as possible.
