NEW ZEALAND RIFLE ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the Executive Committee was held last evening, at which were present: it' Boardman, Esq. (chairman), Geo. Tolhurst, (treasurer), Captains Thompson and Best, Tessrs. Mason, Lancaster, Scott, and F. 'Steven (secretary). The Secretary read a report of his examination of the proposed range at Nelson, and of the work necessary to be done before it would be ready for tho meeting. The report was unanimously adapted, and the secretary instructed to take the necessary steps to carry out the required works. It was resolved that weekly meetings should be held on every Monday evening, to enable the committee to get the programme of the meeting arranged. It was also resolved that the prize meeting be held on the 3rd March, and that the secretary be instructed to advise local secretaries in the various districts that to enable the committee to make final arrangements it will bo absolutely necessary that all subscriptions be paid at once, and a return of the same bo sent in on or before tho 10th February, and that all subscriptions not paid in by that date cannot be taken into account this year.
