The ship St. Leonard’s has over 2090 bales of wool on board, besides a quantity of casks of tallow. The brigantine Hannah Broomfield arrived here from Hokihnga at nine a.m. yesterday. She had very strong winds on the passage, and arrived off the Heads on Friday, when, owing to the force of the gale, she had to bring up. She got underway yesterday morning. and came into harbor as above. When the s.s, Go-Ahead was leaving the wharf on Friday night she met with an accident, which carried away the jib-boom and brought down the foretopgallant mast, which necessitated her return to port. The s.s. Taiaroa sailed for the Manakau via intermediate ports on Saturday afternoon. The s.b. Napier arrived here from Blenheim at 2 а. on Saturday. She left there at 9 p.m. on Friday, and had strong winds on the passage across. She returned to the same port at 7 a.m. yesterday. The steamers Stormbird and Manawatu, for Wan- ; gaunl, left the wharf at 7 o’clock yesterday morning. The p.s. Lyttelton left Blenheim at 4.30 p.m. on Friday, and arrived here at 2 a.m. on Saturday. Rangatira sailed for Napier and Poverty Bay on Saturday night. The s.s. Shoia advertised to sail for Picton and Nelson to-day. The s.s. Easby got away for the Southern ports at soon on Saturday. The ketch Thames cleared at the Customs for Pelorus Bound en Saturday, and will sail to-day. The s.s. Kennedy is due here to-day from Nelson. She leaves for Nelson and the West Coast in the evening. The s.a. Rotorua, from Sydney and the East Coast, arrived here at 9 a.m. yesterday. She left Sydney at б. p.m. on the 18th instant, andarrlvedat Auckland at 4.30 p.m. on the 24th instant: left again at 3.30 p.m. on the 23th,aud arrived at Napier on the 27th; proceeded on for Wellington at XX a.m., and arrived as above. She experienced moderate weather through- - out. The Rotorua sailed for the -South at 9.30 p.m. on Saturday. The top-sail schooner Dunedin arrived in harbor on Saturday. ■ - . The steamer Taupo, from the South, arrived here at Sp.ra. yesterday, she left port Chalmers at 2 p.m. on Friday, and reached Lyttelton at 8 p.m. on Saturday ; left Again at XX p.m., and arrived as above. Experienced strong head .wind and sea throughout. She brings about 150 tone of cargo for Wellington. The Taupo sails for Auckland via the East Coast to-day. The barque Malay, from Newcastle, beat into harbor yesterday and anchored abreast of the wharf at 10 a.m. She made the Heads on Friday, but could not come in owing to tho strong north-west gale.
