Of three several sections of land being the sections numbered respectively 762, 764, and 035 on the plan of the said City of Wellington, each containing one acre little more or lees ; And 3rd. Of eight several sections of land 1 being the sections numbered respectively 23, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 on the plan of the Mungaroa District, in the Provincial District of Wellington, each containing forty-two acres little, more or less. And 4th, Of eighteen several sections of land being the town sections numbered respectively 685, 691, 693, 703, 705, 707, 708, 709, 728, and 728, each containing half an acre little more or less ; 710, 711, and 713, each containing three-quarters of an acre little more or less; 830, 832, 834, and 852, each containing' one acre and a quarter little more or less ; and 848, containing one acre little more or less, on the plan of the Town of Palmerston North in the said Provincial District of Wellington ; And stb. Of the Heaton Park Estate, partly situated in the Turakina District, and partly in the Rangitikei District of the Provincial District of Wellington, and consisting of eighty-nine sections of land, containing in the aggregate twentysix thousand three hundred and eighty acres little more or less ; And 6 th. Of eleven several town sections of land in the Town of Carlyle, in the Provincial District of Taranaki, each containing one quarter of an acre, and being the town sections numbered respectively 2,3, 6, and 8 of block 8 ; 2 of block 17 ; 8 of block 18 ; 9, 10, and 11 of block 25; and 7 and 8 of block 29 on the plan of the said town ; And 7th. Of five several suburban sections of , land at Carlyle aforesaid, being the suburban sections numbered respectively 50, 51, 52, 53, and 54 upon the plan of the suburban sections of Carlyle, containing together three hundred and fifteen acres one rood and twenty-seven perches; And Btb. Of the section of land being the rural section numbered 544 in the District of Hawera, inthesaidProvinoial District of Taranaki, containing two hundred and fifty acres little more or less, all settled by the will of the late William Barnard Rhodes, late of the City of Wellington, and of Highland Park, near the said city, merchant, deceased. NOTICE is hereby given,—That Mary Ann Rhodes, in the will of the said William Barnard Rhodes mentioned as tenant for life of the said estates, did on the sixteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight, present a petition to the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Wellington, praying that an order might be made by the said Court vesting in William Waring Taylor, Thomas Mason, John Studholme, and | Sarah Ann Rhodes, as trustees of the will of the said William Barnard Rhodes, and in the trustees or trustee for the time being of the said will, a general power of granting leases for terms of years not exceeding forty-two years in possession, and of entering into and making preliminary contracts to grant such leases of the said section number 212, either as a whole or in subdivisions, subject to such conditions as the said Court should think fit. 2. And a general power of granting leases for terms of years not exceeding twenty-one years in possession, and of entering into and making preliminary contracts to grant such leases of all other the lands above-mentioned, and in each case either as a whole or in suitable subdivisions as aforesaid, subject to such conditions as the said Court should think fit. 3. And that the costa of the Petitioner and of all other persons served with or properly appearing as respondents to the said petition of the said application and incidental thereto might be taxed, and that such costs when taxed might be a charge upon the said estates or some of them. 4.
