LIGHTS FOR THE TUNNEL.
TO THE EDITOR OV THE NEW ZEALAND TillES. Sir, —Would you suggest to tha proper authorities the advisability of supplyiug the trains passing through the tunnel with lights, tour minutes (the time occupied in the passage) is a long time for nervous travellers to remain in darkness, and Indies complain of occasionally being subjected to more serious inconvenience than oven the darkness.—X am, 4c., Traveller.
