THE CITY BOUNDARIES.

TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir, —Can you inform mo whether it Is necessary for the City Council to immediat ly readjust the boundaries of the various wards of the city ? You are aware that the Legis* lature last session pa sed the Wellington City Boundaries Act, by which the city has been enlarged in area about one-twelfth, and this additional area being outside the boundaries of the wards represented by the present Councillors, it seems to me necessary to alter the ward division, and such alteration would X think necessitate a new election of Town Councillors. —I am, &c., Citizen. Wellington, Dec, 16.
