SPECIAL TELEGRAMS. London, December 10, The Earl of Beaoonsfield, in the House of Lords, declared that a rectification of our Indian frontier would be a necessary result of the present war. The debate in the House of Commons will be resumed on Thursday. (REUTERS SPECIAL TO PRESS AGENCY.) Melbourne, Thursday. There is considerable excitement over the proceedings of the Kelly gang. They had previously bailed up a large number of persons at Faithful’s Creek in the same neighborhood. Nothing has since been heard of the gang. In the cricket match Australian Eleven v. Fifteen Victorians the first innings of the latter closed for 172 runs. The Australians have one wicket down for 39 runs, Adelaide, Thursday. In the cricket ’match, English Eleven v. Eighteen South Australians, the first innings of the South Australians was brought to a close for 110. Lord Harris’s Eleven have four wickets down for 106 runs. Stdnbt, Thursday. A Ministry has been formed.
