Tho steamer Munay, for Nelson and tho West Coast, left at 3.30 yesterday afternoon. Tho Neptune, from Newcastle, with coal and coke consigned to her owner. Captain Williams, arrived in port yesterday morning, and was at once berthed at the wharf. She left Newcastle on the 22nd ultimo, and experienced light and variable wind with thick weather until making Cape Farewell on Tuesday. i>he had strong north-west winds in the Strait, ■with thick and rainy weather. The Jane Douriaa left Foxfc->n at 5 p.m. on Thursday, and arrived here at daylight yesterday morning. Fine weather was experienced up the coast. She left again during the afternoon. The Manawatu arrived from Wanganui at G. 30 yesterday mor ing, after a 12 hours’ passage. She left again yesterday evening. The Storm bird sails for Wanganui to-day. The steamer Taupo, from the Manukau via Taranaki and Nelson, arrived here early yesterday morning. Fine weather was experienced throughout the trip. She sailed again for the South during the afternoon. Tho steamer Easby, from Dunedin and Lyttelton, arrived is harbor yesterday evening. She left the latter port on Thursday night. She sails for Newcastle and Sydney at 10 o’clock this morning. The steamer Glenelg left last night for Okaki with ibe brigantine Isabella and ketch Forest Queen in tow. The steamer Jane Douglas left yesterday evening for Foxton. The Gleoelg towed the ship St. Leonards round from Evans Bay yesterday afternoon; The schooner Aurora, for the East Coast, sailed yesterday morning for another cargo of wool. The steamer Kiwi, from Castlepoint, arrived in harbor at 5*30 yesterday morning. She reports tho steamer Go-Ahead loading at Glenbnrne and the schooner Marmiou at Pahau. The Kiwi leaves again this afternoon. The schooner Herald, from Plcton, arrived In harbor yesterday morning. She left on Wednesday, and encountered strong north-west winds with thick wea* ther across. The Lyttelton left for Blenheim yesteiday evening. The Eotorua is duo here this morning from the South. She leaves again during the afternoon for Sydney, via Napier and Auckland. The Southminster was sold yesterday to Mr, Adams for £7O. The ship Zealahdia is now full, and will sail in a few days. She will be followed by the St. Leonards. The Rakaiahas nearly completed her loading, and will be ready for sea about the middle o! the month. Her berth' will be filled by the Wairoa. The Hermlono is now due, and may shortly be expected. The next ship for this port will be the Hudson, with 250 immigrants. Sixty-eight of the passengers per Edwin Fox, at Nelson, were forwarded here. The nominations by this mail will be between 80 and 90. The Government have decided to resume foreign immigration under certain conditions.
