■ LONDON WOOL MARKET. Messrs. Murray, Common, and Co. have received ‘ following report from their London agents:— ‘ After the despatch of our advices of the 12th •natant our market became steadier for about a week, "■•alter which the attendance in tho‘ saleroom grew smaller, and with a less hopeful feeling la trade circle* prices declined. During the last two or three days, however, the attendance is larger, and price* if not higher are at any rate steadier and more regular than they were. The French buyer* still maintain a general reserve, both their and Continental purchases, as a whole, show a much, smaller proportion than usual. . The present series will pr-bably close on the sth ■ October. ‘ Up to date 258.345 bales have been catalOguqd, of which about 20,300 bales have been bought ’in. and are net likely to bo offered again until next sales.
