Auctions IN THE EXCHANGE LAND MART. ON MONDAY, 9th DECEMBER, 1878. At 2.30 o'clock p.m. GREAT SPECIAL LAND SALE or THE TOWNSHIP OP NORMANBY EXTENSION. • THE BEAL TOWNSHIP OF NORMANBY. T KENNEDY MACDONALD & CO. , are favored with Instructions from Messrs. Thomson and McGuire to offer for sale by public auction, on the above date— One Hundred and Fifty-two Sections of the EXTENSIVE and VALUABLE TOWNSHIP OP NORHANBY EXTENSION,, varying in size from one-eighth of an acre to nearly three acres. It has long been felt by a number of the owners and residents of the Township of Normanby that when the railway came to be constructed the township would require considerable extension. This has proved to be the case, and the Government, recognising the fact that the TOWNSHIP OP NORMANBY EXTENSION was the PROPER PLACE for the GREAT TERMINAL RAILWAY STATION in that part of the country have fixed upon a site about the centre of the allotments now to be offered for sale, and where the three great lines of railway meet. Numerous applications have been made to the Vendors |by Bankers, Hotelkeepers, Storekeepers, and others, to be allowed to make their selections, but considering the valuable character of every allotment in the Township and the natural eagerness of all those beat conversant with the District to invest in them, the Vendors have determined to give all a fair chance and submit every allotment to the hammer. It is needless to say anything of the merits of a Township so admirably situated as NORMANBY EXTENSION. It is the natural centre of the finest agricultural District in New Zealand, and the whole of the great traffic from Taranaki through the Waimate Plains must go to it as the great receiving depot. Terms will be fixed on a liberal basis. Title Land Transfer Act. Lithographic plans of the township, with full details and plan showing the district, will be ready early next week, and every .assistance will be given to intending purchasers to examine the allotments. It is a township that can be fairly and fully recommended as a thoroughly good and sure investment for cither the large or small capitalist, while t» the speculator it offers A SURE THING. REMEMBER!
