It has long been felt by a number of the owners and residents of the Township of Normanby that when the railway came to be constructed the township would require considerable extension. This baa proved to be the case, and the Government, recognising: tbs fact that tho TOWNSHIP OF NORMANBY EXTENSION was the PROPER PLACE for the GREAT TERMINAL RAILWAY STATION in that part of the country have fixed upon a site about the centre of the allotments now to be offered for sale, and where the three great lines of railway meet. Numerous applications have been made to tho Vendors jby Bankers, Hotelkeepers, Storekeepers, and others, to be allowed to make their selections, but considering the valuable character of every allotment in the Township and the natural eagerness of all those best conversant with the District to invest in them, tho Vendors havo determined to give all a fair chanoo and submit every allotment to the hammer. _ . It is needless to say anything of the merits of a Township so admirably situated as NORMANBY EXTENSION. It is tho natural centre of the finest agricultural District in New Zealand, and tho whole of tho great traffic from Taranaki through tho Walmate Plains must go to it as the great receiving depot. Terms will be fixed on a liberal basis. Title Land Transfer Act. Lithographic plans of the township, with full details and plan showing the district, will be ready early next week, and every assistance will be given to intending purchasers to examine the allotments.
