Samson towed her round. The steamer Stella left yesterday morning for The Brothers lighthouse, and returned again during tho afternoon. To-day she goes South again, first calling at Akaroa, and from thence to Cape Saunders, where she will land the workman to commence operations for fixing the new light there • The Kiwi, for the East Coast, sailed last night. The Union Company's steamer Wanaka arrived In harbor at It a m yesterday. She left Port Chalmers on the 9th at 3.30 p.m., Akaroa on the 10th, arriving at Lyttelton the same day at 6pm.; left again for Wellington on the llth, arriving as above. We have to thank Sir. C. Harnett, purjer, for files, &c. Sho leaves for Auckland via the East Coast to-day.
