JUDGE MOLESWORTH, of VICTORIA Has granted an interim injunction onl against the sale of bottles with labels and wrappers similar to the plaintiff’s, which decision has been appealed against, and will be heard by the Pull Court in September next. Judge Molesworth has also decided that the trade term “ Aromatic Schiedam Schnapps ” is public property. The popularity and increasing demand for HART’S IMPERIAL SCHIEDAM SCHNAPPS has become so great that the proprietor, in order to avoid the delay of law, pending his appeal, has arranged to place in the market n a few days his genuine and highly esteemed “ IMPERIAL SCHIEDAM SCHNAPPS” in bottles and labels altogether dissimilar to Wolfe’s, thereby conforming to the present order of the Court of Victoria, and preventing any imposition on or mistake by the public. • Purchasers having any of the old stock on hand can have it changed by applying to the agents, although the result of the appeal according to the opinion of counsel will render this unnecessary. DR. HASSALL’S REPORT. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 64, Holbom Viaduct, E. 0., London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam ! Schnapps received from Mr. H. J, Hart. . j We have subjected a sample of the above- ■ named article ■to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are sot forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr. Hart’s Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and uite genuine. (Signed), Arthur H. Hassall, M.D., Author of “ Food and its Adulteration.” » Otto Hehner, F. 0.3., Public Analyst. 1 WM. JOHNSON’S REPORT, j Government Analytical Laboratory, Melbourne, 23rd July, 1877. Henri J. Hart, Esq., Sir,—l have the boner to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Sohifdam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the finest sample of Schnapps that has as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odor, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil oil or othsr injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compares favorably with other samples offered tor sale. It miy be advised as equally suitable for medical or economic purposes.—l have the honor te be, 4c. (Signed) Wm. Johnson, Analytical Chemist to the Government of Victoria. W. & G. TURNBULL & CO., Agents for Wellington; QAUTION TO THE PUBLIC Since the , introduction of UDOLPHO WOLFE’S SCHNAPPS rt has become, through its wonderful medicinal merits, ihe moat largely consumed spirit in this market, and it therefore is hot surprising that it has been t IMITATED AND COUNTERFEITED. Purchasers should use the greatest cauSon or they will have a SPURIOUS AND CHEAPER ; Article palmed off on themjas the GENUINE SCHNAPPS. Some unprincipled people are retailing a compound of - their own manufacture wiioh they sell under the name of “WOLFFS” SCHNAPPS. We therefore strongly advise purchasers to protect themselves, and buy <nly ORIGINAL UNOPENED BOTTLES 08, CASES, And thus secure the full advantages of this EXTRAORDINARY MEDICAL BEVERAGE. Every genuine bottle bears a label with our name thereon. H.
