Kiwi, Jane Douglas, Taupo, Maori, and Manawatu; ships—Rakala, St. Leonards, Wairoa, and Zo-lanclia ; barques—Malay, Autares, and Craigle Lea: brig Neptune. The Government steamer Hinemoa left last night for Lyttelton with hia Excellency the Governor, The Ruugatira arrived at Napier at 11.15 yesterday morning. The Stormbird arrived at Wanganui at 5.30 yesterday afternoon. The brig Naptune and schooner Mary Ogllvie cleared at the Customs on Saturday. The former for Newcastle and the latter for Greymouth. The Taiaroa left on Saturday at midday for the North. The steamer Luna, from Westport, arrived lr». harbor on Saturday at I p.m. Sbo experienced fir.e weather up the coast. The steamer Kiwi, from Flaxbournc, arrived at the wharf late on Saturday night. Tho steamer Tui, for Kaikoura and Lyttelton, left last night. The steamer Murray, from Nelson, arrived in barber at 1 o’clock yesterday. She left Nelson the night previous, and experienced firm weather across. She leaves here again to-night. The steamer Taupo will leave here to-day for tho South. The steamer Manawatu, from. Wanganui, arrived at H yesterday morning, after a twelve horns’ passage. Fine weather was experienced aloneihe coast. The steamer Stormbmrsailwl forwanganui shortly after 8 on Saturday night. The steamer Albion, for Melbourne via the South, loft the wharf at 3 yesterday afternoon. Tho steamer- Kennedy is detained at Hokitika through a strong fresh in tha river. The steamer Lyttelton op. her arrival here is to be despatched to Otaki to oring up the remaining portion of the passenger.*’ luggage from the City of Auckland. Tho steamer Wellington left Nelson at 11 a m. on Saturday; called at D'Urville Island, and arrived at FictonatS p.m.; left again -at midnight, and arrived at the wharf at 5.30 yesterday morning. Experienced a fresh south-easter across the Strait. She leaves again to day on her return trip. The schooner Mary King, from Lyttelton, with a cargo of colonial produce, arrived in harbor early on Saturday morning. She left Lyttelton on Wednesday, and experienced ooutherly winds to Banks Peninsula; from thence strong N.W. winds and high sea. She hauled'up at, Plimmer's wharf and commenced discharging. Tho schooner- Shepherdess, from Pelorus Sonzrd, timber laden, arrived In port on Saturday. Tho p.s Samson,.which has been laid up here for*tho last three weeks, was soil on Saturday to the West Wanganui Coal Company. She will doubtless wore a very useful boat for tho trade. She haa a large carrying capacity for cargo, and is, moreover, now comfortably fitted up for passengers. It is, wo understand. the intention of tho company that she shall call at.Plcton and Nelson on eocn trip. The price paid for her was £3500. We wish the company ; every sue ess. ; Mr. H.
