JUDGE MOLESWORTH, of VICTORIA Has granted an interim injunction on 1 against the sale 1 of bottles with' labels and wrappers .similar to .the plaintiff’s, which decision has been appealed against, and will be heard by the Pull. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr. H. J. Hart. , We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to. -a very j careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth ,in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it' contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and. agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr. Hart’s Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and uite genuine. (Signed), Arthur 11. Hart, Esq., - - Sir,—l' have the. honor to report for your information that tho sample of Imperial Schiedam, Schnapps forwarded by you. to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that if is tho finest sample of. Schnapps that has as yet come under my notice. , , ? lIt has a pure fragrant odor, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently hefh distilled from superior rye grain, always used iu-stead-of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to tho palate, and in this respect compares favorably withofher samples offered for sale.
