Crawford, Esq., to sell by public auction, at his rooms, Panama street, on Thursday, Oc|ober 10, 1878— 32 ACRES (mote or less) FREEHOLD LAND, AT SOUTH KILBIRNIE, EVANS’ BAY, adjoining Newtown, about a quarter of a mile from the boundary of the city. This, like Kilbirnie North, which he sold about twelve months ago for the benefit and profit of the purchasers on that fortunate occasion, is intersected by well formed roads, every section possessing the advantage of a good frontage to a road. Terms of Payment: Cash deposit of one-fourth the purchasemoney, and the balance by bills at four eight, and twelve months, in equal instalments, with interest at the rate of 8 per cent, added thereto.. DUNCAN will sell by auction, by order of Edward Barp, Esq., on Thursday, 10th October, at his salerooms, Panama-street, at 12 o’clock sharp, immediately before the great sale of Kilbirnie South— Thirty-three acres (more or less) of the richest land in the colony, divided into blocks of from five to seven acres, as per plan. This most valuable property is close to the main line of road (near Albion Hotel) from Wellington to the Taita, Hutt, and Wairarapa. It has never been known to be flooded for the last thirty-eight years. The soil is certainly unsurpassed, and the Auctioneer fearlessly asserts can be equalled by few places in New Zealand. It is all admirably adapted for the purposes of market gardeners, or can be recommended to persona wishing to secure a good investment or a home for themselves and families. Lot 6 has a five-roomed bouse erected upon : it, a dairy, farm, stables, and necessary outbuildings, also a splendid orchard in full bearing. J, Freeth, Esq., to sell by auction on the above date—--22 most valuable sections of land in the township of Featherston, being part of town acres No. 168 and 170 to 175, sub-divided into sections of 38 perches each, viz., Nos. 1 to 4, and 14 to 17, situated in Johnson, Broad, Now, and Bell streets, having a frontage of S6ft. by a depth of 165 ft, 1. 4, 14, and 17 being corner allotments. Sections 19 to 34 are situated In Harrison, Wakefield, and Broad streets, having a frontage of 66ft. by 165 ft. depth. Of these 20, 22, 26, 27, 31, and 33, ore corner allotments. There is now erected on town acre No. 176 the new Empire Hotel; and within a feet are the Post Office, Railway Station and Telegraph Office, Supreme Court and Police Offices.
