Crawford, Esq., to sell by public auction, at his rooms, Panama street, on Thursday, October 10, 1878 — 82 ACRES (more or less) FREEHOLD LAND, AT SOUTH KILBIRNIE, EVANS' BAY, adjoining Newtown, about a quarter of a mile from the boundary of the city. This, like Kilbirnie North, which ho sold about twelve months ago for the benefit and profit of the purchasers on that fortunate occasion, is intersected by well formed roads, every section possessing the advantage of a good frontage to a road. Terms of Payment; Cash deposit of one-fourth the purchasemoney, and the balance by bills at four eight, and twelve months, in equal instalments, with interest at the rate of 8 per cent, added thereto.) TitleUnder the Land Transfer Act. Every section can ho easily discovered, as the surveyor’s pegs are all plainly numbered ; but, in the event of any one requiring, the services of a surveyor will be available to point out the several allotments. As the notice of the sale is necessarily short, the Auctioneer advises all to inspect this beautifully situated and - important township without DELAY. Buyers, or those thinking of becoming purchasers, are reminded of the great importance and effect produced on all freeehold properties in Kilbirnie North and South by the triumphal inauguration and successful working of the steam tramway, which doubtless in the course of-a very few months will be obliged to connect with Kilbirnie North and South. The buildings erected on Kilbirnie North, and the consequent great rise in the value of property since its sale in August last year, should be at once, a guide and friendly warning to all persons to take advantage of the safe on Thursday, 10th October. These great and agreeable opportunities are only afforded once in the course of the lives of a very few. Take advantage of them, says the Auctioneer, IT IS NOW OK NEVER. As in the former instance the sale is without reserve. Plans and fullest information supplied on application to the auctioneer, R. J. DUNCAN, Panama-street. THURSDAY, 10th OCTOBER. HUTT LAND. FARM SECTIONS, FIVE -TO SEVEN ACRES EACH. About Thirty-three Acres Richest Soil in New Zealand. MR. R. J. DUNCAN will sell by auction, by order of Edward Earp, Esq., on Thursday, 10th October, at his salerooms, Panama-street, at 12 o’clock sharp, immediately before the great sale of Kilbirnie South— Thirty-three acres (more or less) of the richest laud in the colony, divided into blocks of from five to seven acres, as per plan. This most valuable property is close to the main line of road (near Albion Hotel) from Wellington to the Taita, Hutt, and Wairarapa. It has never been known to be flooded for the last thirty-eight years. The soil is certainly unsurpassed, and the Auctioneer fearlessly asserts can be equalled by few places in New Zealand. It is all admirably adapted for the purposes of market gardeners, or can be recommended to persons wishing to secure a good investment or a home for themselves and families. Lot 6 has a five-reomed house erected upon it, a dairy, farm, stables, and necessary outbuildings, also a splendid orchard in full bearing.
