Waitaki Handicap, of 100 sovs., with a sweep of 2 sovs. for the second horse; distance one mile and three-quarters.—Goodman’s hr h Chancellor, 4yra, 7st 11b, Ist; Ray’s b m Maritana, aged, Sst 31b, 2nd ; Hill’s b g Unknown, aged, 7st, 3rd. Endymion also ran ; Sinking Fucd and Te Wheta were scratched. This was a good race, and was Ivon by a length, Unknown an indifferent third. Time, 3min. 20sec. Duutroon Plate, of 40 sovs.; weight for age; distance one mile and a half.—Bentley's ch g Henry, aged, Ist; Hon. Mr. Campbell’s ch h Duntroon, aged, 2nd ; McKellar’s b m Minnie, fiyrs, 3rd.
