The barque St. I.ouis, from Bordeaux, is consigned to Messrs. Krull and Co., and not to Mr. Cheymol The following steamers are due here to day : Taranaki, from the South ; Rotorua from Sydney via Auckland; Albion, from Melbourne via the South. The stenmer Stormbl-d, from Wanganui, arrived in harbor at three o’clock yesterday morning, after a passage of 13 hours. She sailed again for Wanganui yesterday evening. The steamer Manawatu, from Wanganui, arrived at the wharf yesterday at 2 o’clock. She crossed the bar at 1.36 the-same morning, aad experienced flna weather along the coasts The brig Uobln Hood, from Newcastle, with more coals, arrived off the Heads yesterday morning, and was brought up close to the wharf during the afternoon. She left Newcastle on the 23rd ultimo, and experienced variable weather, then N N E. attended with lightning and heavr squalls. On the 20th encountered a severe gale, with nasty cross sen. On the 30th the wlnd.veered to the S.W., and next morning made Rocks Point. Passed Cape Farewell the same night. Made Kapiti on Wednesday night, and arrived off the Heads as above. Three barques were seen between The Brothers and Stephens Island, one a large iron vessel, standing towards Cloudy Bay. Captain Hill reports sighting a ship on 20th ultimo, in lat, 27‘36, long. 150‘30, The Robin Hood will comtamce discharging to-day. The schooner Rose of Eden, from Peloms Sound, arrived off Plimmcr’s wharf yesterday at midday. She left the Sound on Wednesday afternoon, and experienced fin“e weather. The steamer Manawatu towed the schooners Awaroa and Clematis over the Wanganui bar. The former is bound for Nelson and the latter for Kaipara, The ship St. Leonards broke bulk yesterday. She la expected to have quick despatch. The schooner Young Dick has hauled away fromthe pier.The schooner Bright Planet, from Napier, arrived in harbor yesterday morning. Fine weather was experienced along the coast. She arrive* here in ballast. Edward Raynor, late mate of the Sophia R. Luhrs, has been appointed master of the barque Carlotta. The steamer Manawatu leaves to day for Wanganui. The Rangatira, for Poverty Day and Napier, leaves here to-morrow. • ... The Union Company's steamer Hawea is advertised to leave here on the Bth instant to take passengers to Kapler to witness the Hawke’s Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Association's annual show, to be held at Napier on the 6th and 10th instant. The steamer Albion is due here to-day. The barque G. M. Tucker sailed out yesterday afternoon, bound for Newcastle, Captain Manly has gone as master. The sailing of the steamer Kiwi has been postponed unMl to-day. The Jano Douglas, for Foxton. sails to-day. She has been on the Slip and had her bottom cleaned. The barque Malay, from Newcastle, arrived off the Heads yesterday morning, and during the evening entered the harbor. She left Newcastle the same day; as the Robin Hood, and experienced similar weather;. ARRIVA L OT THE CRAIGLE LEA. The long-expected barque Craigle Lea, from London, with cargo, was towed into harbor late lajb-night by the stearaot Rangatira, and anchored In gro *nd on account of her having two tons; of that combustible material on board. She left. London on the 26th Februaay for this port, and met- with terrific weather off the Cape of Good Hope, and was so seriously injured that she had to Freemantle (Western Australia) for repairs. Oo being examined there it was found that she had received considerable damage, which necessitated her- stay there for a considerable time. After the repairs had been effected she left for here on the 29th August. She arrived close to Wellington Heads a week ago, but owing to a strong N.W, gale was blown away seventy miles south, 'During, this time she has had her jibboora ! and part of. her main rigging carried away. She-; managed to beat up to the Heads again on Wednes- ; day morning, where she anchored until the Rangatira- • towed her In as above. Her powder will be put oali to-day, when she will be shifted close to the wharf.
