The whole of the associated Newcastle coal masters have given notice of their intention to withdraw at the 3nd of the year from the present agreement relating to the price of coal. It is generally believed that a reduction of price will follow. The latest Queensland trans-continental exploring party will shortly reach Port Darwin. They have so far found the country well fitted for a railway.
The prospectors who are up at Molvor report the country auriferous. The gold, however, is ns yet unpayable. The country is suit; able for stock and sugar growing. ' The Rev.
