Sir, —la Mr. Boardman's letter published in this morning's issue, he says, "In his ftnxiety to put forward a good case to the public Mr. Williams has hot only made the misstatement corrected above, but has also suppressed at least one important letter, and in quoting another he has left out the paragraphs which did not suit his views." He speaks of me as one "who hopes by suppressing and distorting facts and taking advantage of sin illegal insurance effected by a third party, to avoid the consequences of his negligence." Then, "I shall not notice him again, but anyone who feels curious to know how a " J.P." can, by twisting facts, make the worse appear the better cause, can have his curiosity gratified by culling at my office." Mr. Boardman writes of tne in this way, then runs away Baying, " I shall not notice him again." Perhaps not! This may be the correct thing to do ;it may not. When I have discovered the suppressed documents with the "paragraphs left out which did not suit my views," and have otherwise arranged my thoughts, it will give me pleasure to wait upon and endeavor onqe'more if possible to'"arnuse" Mr. A.
